Ok protection

Works to protect the optic but reduces field of view by adding thickness to the outside.

That is correct, but a certain material thickness is necessary to ensure the shock-absorbing effect of the OpticGard protection-cover.

Excellent And Affordable Added Protection

This is my second Opticgard product. This cover stays put, but is easy to remove and reinstall as needed. It's very well made and is barely adds any bulk to the red dot body.

Optic guard for Holosun EPS

I ordered the optic guard for my Holosun EPS for my M&P .45 in FDE. The guard seems pretty durable and would protect my almost $500 optic.
