Ok protection

Works to protect the optic but reduces field of view by adding thickness to the outside.

That is correct, but a certain material thickness is necessary to ensure the shock-absorbing effect of the OpticGard protection-cover.

Fits well

so far so good. no issues and fits perfectly. I like how secure it fits to protect my scope. overall good price and i'm definitely happy with the cover

BETTER THAN USING SHOP RAGS

I cover my SRO red dot to prevent damage from bangs or bumps. They're soft, yet thick enough to provide adequate protection. WAY better than warping in cotton rags before I put them back in the vault and it doesn't leave any debris or lint on the lens.

I couldn’t believe it!

Picked me up a cover from OpticGard and it’s a thang of beauty! Stays on snug at all times and I can run drills with out extracted casings dinging up my SRO as expensive as optics accessories are Brotha this is a small price to pay for protection. Don’t let your sights get beat like mine. SMH

Grateful

Grateful for the Perfect fit and tbh I didn't expect it to fit like a glove. Having used and seen other covers that have let me down in the past, it's nice for a change. Now I can keep my HS 508 covered 100% of the time and do not compromise the solar feature or lens protection at the range or on patrol.

Nothing on the market comes close!

I like the optic cover for my SRO, no other product like it on the market comes close! Best Part? I don't have to remove the cover during competitions or transportation. It's worth the $49 for 2 covers.
