Ok protection

Works to protect the optic but reduces field of view by adding thickness to the outside.

That is correct, but a certain material thickness is necessary to ensure the shock-absorbing effect of the OpticGard protection-cover.

Good investment

The optic guard covers fit nicely on my 2 red dots. Only time will tell if they’re durable. Installing and removing them frequently may become an issue with stability. I would like to see them in more color options for holosun 507k. Will purchase again should the need arise. Fast shipping was a plus.
